About the position

August Sweden AB needs to strengthen the service department and is now looking for employees who want to contribute to our continued success in an industry with a strong focus on the environment and sustainability. You are offered an exciting position with fantastic opportunities to acquire unique knowledge in a stable company. As a service technician, you will be responsible for our environmentally friendly and odorless mini sewage treatment plants throughout Sweden. You will be based from your home around the Uddevalla/Gothenburg area. The position includes approximately 110 travel days per year with overnight stays. You will travel in a specially equipped service vehicle. During the weeks you are traveling, your workweek is normally Monday to Friday, but you have great freedom to manage your own time.

Job description

As a service technician, you have an important role in ensuring that customers' facilities are in good condition. The work is varied, and no day is the same. You will work with:

- Ongoing service and maintenance of customers' facilities to maintain operation.

- Repairs, troubleshooting, and conducting water samples.

- Inspection of machinery, replacing and/or updating components.

- Providing advice and instructions over the phone to both colleagues and customers.

We are looking for someone who:

- Plans your trips independently, with a strong emphasis on having experience in planning trips before.

- Has a great interest in technical and mechanical constructions.

- Is communicative and enjoys contact with customers and colleagues.

- Is organized and solution-oriented.

- Has good computer skills and can handle the Office package.

- Learns quickly and adapts to new environments, situations, and circumstances.

- Is solution-focused and has the desire to complete tasks.

- Holds a driver's license (B), as the position requires travel throughout Sweden.

- Is fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing, fluent in English in both speech and writing, and has good communication skills.

It is a merit if you have experience in taking responsibility and working independently.
